The Ryder Cup has come and gone and Europe left Valhalla disappointed. Hats off to the Americans they deserved the win. Azinger got it more right than wrong and the faith he put in his rookies and those who under performed on the first day was commendable. It's a testament to the yanks performance that the name of Eldrick Woods hardly came up this weekend.
Congratulations has to go out to Ian Poulter who made a few more friends with his 'man of the tournament' showing, as highest single point scorer there was not a great deal more he could do. On the other hand a few Europeans should have a look at themselves. Nick Faldo has come in for some criticism for his handling of the team and the press. A pal called him the Steve McLaren of Europe, which is harsh. But if Han Solo is Steve McLaren then Padraig Harrington is Stevie G. Brilliant usually average for his (inter)national team.
For any Europeans reading there's plenty on the site to help you get over your disappointment. For any Americans browsing the site we've got enough to keep you in your good mood. Anyone who doesn’t live in those regions…alright how you doing? Have a scoot around and check what’s new on the blog, learn with the Bunker Babes Bunker Babes and get your geek on in GolfJunk.
Revenge will be ours.
Your pal,
Sifaeli Webitor.
